Subnautica 2 Early Access is Live

Subnautica 2 officially launched into Early Access on May 14, 2026 at 8 AM PDT on PC (Steam, Epic, Windows Store) and Xbox Series X|S for $29.99.

Subnautica 2 is officially in Early Access. Developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, the sequel to the beloved 2018 original drops players onto a new alien ocean planet with 4-player co-op, Unreal Engine 5 visuals, and a completely rebuilt base-building system.
