◈ Quick Tip

You need 10 titanium per ingot. Titanium is found in metal salvage and limestone outcroppings everywhere. Plan ahead — large builds consume ingots fast.

About Titanium Ingot in Subnautica 2

Titanium Ingots are the most routinely crafted refined material in Subnautica 2. They're not rare — they're a bottleneck. Ten titanium per ingot sounds manageable until you're building a Vehicle Bay, a large base expansion, and a Seamoth hull upgrade simultaneously and suddenly need 20+ ingots. Titanium itself is everywhere; running out of it means you simply haven't been collecting passively.

How to Farm Titanium Ingot Efficiently

Build a habit of collecting titanium on every dive, even when your objective is something else. Metal salvage on the ocean floor is the fastest bulk source — one piece of salvage yields 2 titanium, and the crash zone is dense with it. Limestone outcroppings yield one titanium each but are also universal. You should rarely need to dedicate a specific run to titanium.

Advanced Notes

Craft ingots in batches of 3–5 whenever your titanium reserves exceed 50. This avoids the frustrating mid-build moment where you're one ingot short and have to interrupt construction to go farm. Keep 10+ ingots in base storage as a standing reserve.
